The meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m. by Co-chairman Ken Levin.
Jim Bechtel made a motion, seconded by Janet Sturges, to approve the October minutes. All present  voted in favor.  Motion carried.
1. Public Open Forum: no public participation

2. Public Hearing: 10-18 Lyme Street (Village Shops) - New siding and trim - Warren Hannas
Warren Hannas and his contractor, David King, submitted a CofA application to replace the siding and trim with Hardiplank siding and Azek trim. The non-functioning louver vents in the gable will be replaced with a pair of shutters.
Joanne DiCamillo made a motion, seconded by Barbara Traskos, to approve the CofA application for one year. All present voted in favor. Motion carried.

3. Business News & Secretary’s Report: Martha Hansen
The HDC files continue to be updated.

4. HDC Representatives for Approved CofAs: Janet Sturges
To be discussed at the December meeting.

5.  Plaque Program update: Martha Hansen
12 Ferry Road: Start research (Martha Hansen).
20 Ferry Road: Research continues (Martha Hansen and Pamela Hamilton).
23 Ferry Road: Contact Robin Sedgwick (Martha Hansen).
173 Mile Creek: Complete research (Martha Hansen).
209 Boston Post Road: Complete research (Martha Hansen).


6. Any other new or old business:
a) Ames' chimneys - CT Trust Circuit Rider, Gregory Farmer, recommended that a letter be sent to the homeowner with copies  to the contractor and local zoning enforcement officer asking why the HDC’s preferred design (#3) was not used.
Action: Write letter to Marty Ames (Jim Bechtel).
b) Chocolate Shell signage - The sign on the side of the building has been removed. The sandwich board sign is still being used. The HDC does not have jurisdiction over temporary signs.

7. Adjournment
Barbara Traskos made a motion, seconded by Joanne DiCamillo, to adjourn the meeting at 10:10        a.m. All present voted in favor. Motion carried.
